Clinical Supervision

I offer a creative arts based individual and group supervision for trainee play therapists, play therapists, teachers, teaching assistants and therapists from other therapeutic disciplines.

Clinical supervision is a form of mentoring and coaching for practitioners who undertake challenging work with people.  I believe this special relationship supports practitioners in their clinical work.

I provide supervision in a safe non-judgmental space which enables therapists to explore, reflect on and develop their practice and relationships with clients. My work is underpinned by PTUKs ethical framework.

Trainee play therapists will be given the opportunity to develop their professional identity and look at their own beliefs and areas of practice which complement and challenge. More experienced therapists will be able to continue to develop their professional understanding through exploring the relationships with their clients, areas of professional interest and their own professional journey.

Using a range of creative approaches, I enable therapists to work in metaphor, explore archetypes and access the unconscious. As an integrative therapist I recognise that this approach may feel tricky and as a complement I use intellectual and open discourse to explore ideas and to work on a more cognitive level.

I see the supervision relationship as a journey travelled together, where supervisees are inspired to to journey to places considered beyond reach.
